Connect with God, the church community, and your purpose in unexpected, life-changing ways.
The Rooted experience redefines how we live our lives and view our relationships with God and others, giving context to what it means to be a part of something bigger. You will begin to see God in new ways, allowing you to experience a different way of life: community, authenticity and generosity.
Spring Session Registration is now open!
Dates for Spring Session are February 6 - April 14. With the Rooted Celebration taking place on Wednesday, April 17. Childcare is available for both options, and you will simply include this request when completing your registration. The cost to register is $40/person.
Sunday Mornings 8:45am - 10:15am
Wednesday Evenings 5:30pm - 7:30pm
Rooted is an interactive experience. In the course of 10 weeks, you will get together weekly with your group to talk about what God has been revealing to you as you go through the week’s readings, journal entries, and prayer. You will also learn from one another as the Holy Spirit works to comfort, encourage, and guide each member. Your group will share two experiences together outside of your group time: prayer, and serving. After the last session, you’ll join together with other groups and celebrate how God is working to connect each of you with your passion, your purpose, and your community. Little Angels Shopping Day
Saturday, December 15
9am - 3pm
Little Angels Set Up Day
Sunday, December 9
Little Angels is one of our 61/10 initiatives. We want to make sure that all kids have a Merry Christmas. Our shopping day will take place on Saturday, December 15th. This is when the families come "shop" at our store and get to pick out items specifically for their child/children.
We need lots of volunteers to make the event happen. Some ways to be involved are to pick up a tag and buy a present, help set up, as well as helping the day of the store with shopping, wrapping, and carrying gifts out to cars.
Tags will be available at the Lobby Cart on November 18, November 25, and December 2. Gifts should be brought back on December 9.

Second Friday every month
On the second Friday of each month, we visit Over the Rhine (OTR) and serve food to people in need at the Our Daily Bread location, across from Findlay Market. Over 150 meals are usually served each time we go! We clear tables, wrap silverware, work on the serving line, and assist with some food prep.
We meet at the church to travel together at 8:30 am and leave OTR at approximately 12:00 noon.
Crafters for Christ
Second Thursday of the month
On the second Thursday of each month, the Crafters for Christ tribe meets at 9:30 am in the Parlor. They knit and crochet blankets, prayer shawls, baby hats, and more. They make these items for Bethesda North Hospital, the Pregnancy Care Center, Christmas boxes, and VFW.
ANY age is welcome! The more, the merrier! If you are interested in joining CFC, contact Bobbie DeRosa.
